Prof. Dongsheng Brian Ma received his B.S. degree with highest honors and M.S. degree in electronic science from NanKai University, Tianjin, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph. D degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2003.

He is presently Texas Analog Center of Excellence (TxACE) Chair Professor and Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering at the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, the University of Texas at Dallas. He also serves as the Thrust Leader of Energy Efficiency at the SRC national Center - TxACE. From 2004 to 2010, he was a faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona, where he was Analog Devices Chair Assistant Professor from 2004 and then promoted as an Associate Professor with early tenure in 2009. Prof. Ma was the founding director of Integrated System Design Laboratory (ISDL) at the University of Arizona. In 2003, he was with Louisiana State University as an Assistant Professor. Rajdeep Bondade

Ph.D Student

Rajdeep Bondade received his B.E degree in Electronics and Communication from PES Institute of Technology, India, in 2007. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, at the University of Texas at Dallas. He joined the Integrated Systems Design Lab in the fall of 2007. His interests include mixed signal circuit design, digital VLSI design and bio-medical circuits design.

Yongtao Geng

Ph.D Student

Yongtao Geng received the B.S. degree in Electronic Science and Technology and the M.S. degree in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He is currently working towards the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas. His research interests include pulse generation circuits, sample-and- hold circuits for analog-to-digi- tal conversion, and power management integrated circuits.

Chris Hall

2009 Outstanding Graduating (Undergrad) Student

Christopher Hall will graduate with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona in December 2009.  He joined the Integrated System Design Laboratory as an undergraduate research assistant.  He will continue his education at the University of Arizona as a master’s student and plans to graduate with a M.S. in Electrical Engineering in May 2011.  His research interest is in analog circuit design.

Joey Sankman

Joey Sankman received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with Honors, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Arizona, May 2010. He joined the Integrated System Design Laboratory as an undergrad research assistant Fall 2009. His work on solar-powered wireless sensor nodes with integrated maximum power point tracking appeared in ISCAS 2011. Joey is pursuing his Ph.D degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, currently researching piezoelectric energy harvesting for integrated MEMs cantilevers. He is the recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship as well as the Semiconductor Research Corporation Graduate Fellowship.

Yikai Wang

Ph.D Student

Yikai Wang received his B.S. and M.S. degree at Zhejiang University, China in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He enrolled at The University of Texas at Dallas in the Direct Ph.D. program. Yikai Wang joined the Integrated System Design Laboratory in the fall of 2008. His research interests are focused on integrated power management system and the mixed signal integrated circuits design.

Yi Zhang

Ph.D Student

Yi Zhang received his B.S. and M.S. degree at Zhejiang University, China in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He enrolled in The University of Texas at Dallas and joined the Integrated System Design Laboratory in Fall 2008 to pursue his Ph.D. degree. His research interests include integrated power management system design, digital VLSI design and low power mixed signal integrated circuits design.
